Sexually Transmitted Infections is the oldest journal in the field dealing with issues of sexual health, sexually transmitted diseases, and HIV. First published in 1925, the journal attracts worldwide contributions on the clinical, microbiological, immunological, behavioral, epidemiological, social and historical aspects of the sexually transmitted diseases. Included are the traditional sexual infections, plus the more recently recognized viral infections, such as human immunodeficiency virus and AIDS, human papillomavirus, herpes simplex virus, and the sexually transmissible hepatitis viruses.
